The ACSP at the Closets Conference & Expo
Each year the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals leads a dedicated day of education and certification at the industry's only national closets conference — keeping the designers and installers who work in your home at the top of their craft.
Why it matters to homeowners
When a company's designers and installers take part in the ACSP's education day, they bring the newest thinking in the industry straight back to your project. Hiring a professional who invests in this kind of continuing education means you benefit from:
- Up-to-date design knowledge and smarter, more efficient use of your space.
- Current best practices in materials, finishes, hardware, and installation.
- A pathway to recognized ACSP certifications that verify skill and experience.
- Confidence that your closet is designed and installed by professionals who take their craft seriously.
Curious what those letters after a designer's name mean? See our guide to the ACSP designer & installer certifications (RSD, CSD, MSD, and RI).
The ACSP education day
The Closets Conference & Expo is the only national trade event dedicated to the closets, cabinetry, and home-organization industry. It is produced by the Woodworking Network and co-located with Wood Pro Expo Florida, drawing well over a thousand designers, fabricators, installers, and manufacturers from across North America.
The Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP) is a core education partner for the event. The opening conference day is devoted to professional development, and throughout the show the ACSP hosts designer sessions, clinics, and certification exams for its members.
June 30 – July 2, 2026. Conference day June 30, expo floor July 1–2.
Palm Beach County Convention Center, West Palm Beach, Florida.
What happens at the conference
The ACSP's programming is where the industry's most engaged professionals sharpen their skills. A typical year includes:
ACSP-led sessions built specifically for closet designers — moderated discussions, shared best practices, and continuing-education talks on design trends, materials, and hardware.
Hands-on clinics covering real-world skills such as lighting, molding and scribe installation, fabrication techniques, and getting the most out of new hardware and materials.
The conference is a primary place where ACSP professionals sit for their designer and installer certification exams — the same RSD, CSD, MSD, and RI designations you can see on company profiles.
Receptions, booth tours, and business-management sessions on marketing, operations, and the growing role of AI and automation in the design workflow.
